As you probably know, a flashing D light means the PCM has sensed an abnormality in the transmission. A code should be stored and you should be able to retrieve with a scanner (or the HDS at the dealer).

Also, call the dealer as '03 Pilots have had recalls for transmission problems, which your vehicle may qualify for. check it out at edmunds.com.

awesome thanks guys, i'm going to have the code pulled by the dealer and we'll see what they say. i am thinking its something minor, just because that's the only time its shown up.
