You can try, but it's very unlikely that they will. After all, a rock hit the windshield and caused damage. Since this isn't damage caused by a manufacturing defect, the manufacturers warranty won't likely cover it, but they could consider it for goodwill coverage i would not count on it.
However, it is something that your auto insurance can cover depending on your plan/coverage.

after being broken into a few times, I was able to add 100% glass coverage to my insurance. no deductable at all. it covers repairs (like your situation) or a complete break.
Most glass places will come to you to fix it. I cant imagine it being too much considering a new front glass is around 180. id say under 50 should fix it |
