So the long running participation of the NSX in Super GT (remember the JGTC?) is officially ending on Nov. 7th of this year. Super GT is cancelling MR cars as an allowable platform (FR only).

Honda says they'll enter their line-up's only remaining sporting automobile in 2010 - a Fit w/ a c32b.

Link is blocked for me but I wonder what the rationale was for that decision? Unless SuperGT/Honda knows something we don't: FM-layout NSX replacement isn't really dead.

I smell Toyota at work here. They seem to have a strong influence in all motorsports and try to shift the balance of power in their direction whenever possible. This new formula would be advantageous for their new supercar, and Honda has nothing to counter it.

I think the S2000 would have been a better choice. BTW, where does it say that they're entering a c32 Fit?

That was a joke. To expound, the idea of Honda's only car w/ any sporting aspirations, the Fit, is so ludricous that entering it in Super GT would be considered a joke.

No, the 911s compete in the GT300 class so they are not subject to the latest regulation.

FWIW, the NSX-GT won the last race of the seaon. Not a bad way to go out.

honda comin out with sh-awd front mount hybrid nsx 2+2 seater.producin about 499hp Dohc i-Vtec for 2012.with a price tag a lil over the current 1..104k
