Default 2010 Honda NT700V

I was on Honda's website checking out the new 2010 VFR1200 when I saw the NT700V. I didn't even know this bike was coming!

To me, it looks a lot like a replacement for the PC800 Pacific Coast with its integrated saddle bags and upright seating. To me, this would be the perfect commuter/road trip bike.

Very interesting, looks like a great all around unit. seemingly it could use more displacement though, but great for first time tour/sporttour or commuters crowd

I wonder if that engine is derived from the NT650?

seemingly you would think it would have to be... that 650 wasn't the strongest twin around, but was fine in that light weight hawk... fully faired, who knows if it has enough grunt

yea, it's a derivative of that same turd. i honestly don't understand why honda is wasting their time developing that engine. it was neat back in the 80s when it came out, but now it's just a polished piece of shit.

Seems like a 650 V-strom with a shaft drive.

nice bike but honda could've shaved a few lbs off and also the saddle bags are not removable from the bike, it weighs even more than my 85 shadow 700. But it's a honda so I'm sure it'll have low maint. and run forever.
