97 civic electrical problem !HELP!
ok so the other day i was driving my kupe to my mothers house and i hit a "not so bad bump" and all of the sudden i got a CEL, pulled the codes and i got two codes for o2 sensors,1 for vacume leak and 1 for a faulty speed sensor total of 4 codes( codes for tech referance are ;p1298-p0135-p0141-p0501)
well i thought nothing of it since she was still running great... later on the same day i went to drop my girlfriend off and the lights started to dim... everything that was lit was beggining to dim. I dropped her off and on my way home( literally around the corner from her house) she dies..no battery light to warn me...... CRAP, luckily a cabbie jump started my car up and she survived the short ride home... long story short i did some trouble shooting and figured fuse #15 a 7.5fuse in the underdash panel keeps blowing out which is "alternator/SP sensor" MAKES SENSE right since my speedo isnt working aswell..... anyway im guestimating theres a short somewhere that the little dip i went through triggered it.........
i tried putting a 20amp fuse and she blew it as soon as i reved her slightly
HAS ANYONE HAD ANY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS SAME OR SIMULAR ISSUE.... PLEASE HELP

It's a link that downloads a PDF of the TSB to your computer. Look for the download.
EDIT: Sorry, my link was bad. Fixed. Try it again.

Re: 97 civic electrical problem !HELP!
so common sense says if theres no juice to the horn plug under the bag BUT theres juice to the underdash fuse box theres a break in the wire somewhere from there to here.....right

Re: 97 civic electrical problem !HELP!
Right. Did you use the horn ground for the voltage test? If so, test it for continuity to ground. If the ground wire is fine, then test for an open in the hot horn wire between both ends of the clockspring/cable reel under the airbag.
