HIGH Idle issues 2500 rpm
its a 91 crx dx with a d16a6 swap, jackson racing supercharger, str cam gear, exhaust....I changed the iacv 3 diff times all were clean and the same result, coolant temp sensor is good, swapped map two times same result, iat tested good, new distributor from cap to shaft, new main relay, new o2....vacuum tested good so did the fuel pressure...it runs great just stays at 2500 it dropped once when I drove it a lil and never did again. and no the throttle cable isnt stuck. also I had swapped the whole intake assembly back to the stock intake with all the components and still at 2500rpm. anyone got suggestions?? NO CODES!!!!

Sounds like a throttle body issue since it did the same thing on 2 different intakes.
Guessing maybe the idle screw is out of adjustment?
What happens when you plug the bypass holes inside the TB?

2 totally diff throttle bodies and the screw does nothing 2500 is at its lowest..I have one hole in the tb and when I plug it it drops to about 1800 -1900 but only sometimes

sounds to me like a vacuum leak - are the PCV and hoses o.k.? - brake booster?

is the throttle plate completely closed at idle? does it still have a dashpot on it? if so, is the vacuum line to the dashpot connected?

yes yes and yes...Ive swapped everything connected to the intake atleast once including the intake same result ...it idles at 2500...everything thats vacuum ran seems to be working....its driving me nuts having a sc crx and not being able to drive it

Have you checked the TPS? It sounds like it is out of adjustment or even the coolant temp sensor. Check the middle wire on te TPS and it should be at 0.5 volts with closed throttle and around 4.8 volts or so at WOT... Nub.

but Ive changed the whole tb so how could both tps's be acting bad the same exact way? and I changed the coolant temp sensor....wouldnt the coolant temp sensor just flood the engine with fuel if it was bad??

Well if everything is good then there is no problem right?
Just because you changed two throttle bodies does not mean they are clocked correctly. A bad coolant temperature sensor could flood it out OR cause it to idle high because of too much gas. I would check you TPS voltage. There is also a Honda service notice for a bad ground from the factory for the TPS...

Ill test the tps for the 3rd time but im pretty sure the voltage is good....i cant seem to find the issue with this car...i love hondas but im tempted to go another direction at this point

I had a similar problem with a 94 Accord EX i had....
The things i did.
1:there are usually 2 ISC Screws. dont forget to check em both
2:loosen what ever mounts the thorrottle cable to give it some play. it may be pulled to tight.
3:IACV replacement\Check (which i see you did already)
4:replace\try different MAS
5:replace\try different\Adjust TPS (thats what the problem was on mine, didnt throw code either)
