Are they supposed to be stronger than stock or just a replica with basically the same strength?? I'm still thinking about getting a pair because they come with rings and wrist pins too

all this motor buying stuff, id be more concerned about security first spend most money on that

my gsr like i posted is bone stock and thast the most money i spent on the car is security it worked out because the thieves wernt able to steal it, i dont understand how ppl can throw so much money/do alot of motor research but when it comes to security they just get a simple alarm that can easily be cut off,

I agree. All this motor talk doesn't mean I haven't thought about security, hell, my pride and joy that I put 15-20 grand including the price of the car and owned for 7+ years just got stolen. Trust me, I've thought about it. to the point where I don't have to ask questions on a forum about it. I'd rather not have my car stolen again. I've just been throwing a lot of questions out there because I've never built an n/a motor before and I'm not familiar with oem part combinations. Besides, if someones going to break into my garage and steal all my parts before I get the car on the road in the next few months, the alarm won't help. But in the end, yes the security has been thought of.

It's far from perfect and yes there are runs but I'm not worried about it, its not going to be under a shop light tilted up when it's in the car... enjoy

Any particular reason you opted for ACL bearings over OEM?
