I've been really happy with it...It spreads very smoothly. As far as sanding easily, I would have to say that it was pretty easy. I haven't used much else though, so my opinion isn't the most varied.
I've only used Bondo brand filler once, and it was awful compared to this stuff. It didn't spread well and was much harder to sand.

Thanks! Didn't remove the moulding...on the Integras the quarter glass moulding is actually a part of the window itself, so the whole thing has to come out. Same goes for the hatch glass where it butts up against the painted surface. It's a pain to tape off, but I didn't want to spend the money on new ones. As suggested above, I should have just paid to have them removed and then reinstalled, but I didn't think of that before.
It's raining here today, but tomorrow I'll finish some taping and cleaning tomorrow and then Saturday I'm hoping to be doing the jambs and mirrors.

Alright guys, fiiiinally an update with pictures! It's not much, but it will hold you over until tomorrows update.
The weatherman was a little off today, and the humidity ended up being perfect for spraying, so I decided to do the inside of the hatch and a few mirror parts. The hatch went pretty well, but a few solvent pops came up after the first coat. I sanded them down and cleaned them really well and then it was good. The mirrors, on the other hand, where loaded with problems so I'm going to have to sand them down and try something else with that. My paint store recommended an aerosol cleaner(instead of the PPG plastic cleaner) for the plastic stuff, and I suspect that it isn't quite doing the job. Unfortunately they're closed tomorrow, so it looks like I'll be waiting till next week when I can get a different cleaner. But anyway, I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking: Basecoat: ![]() ![]() ![]() This was the worst of the mirrors: ![]() And...*drumroll*...the clearcoat: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Not bad for never having sprayed BC/CC before . The pictures don't even begin to do this color justice, but I hope you can get the idea. This is starting to make all the work worth it...The color turned out exactly how I was hoping, and everything laid down nice and smooth. Tomorrow's first priority is the inside of the doors, and then all the jambs on the car! I'll update with more pictures tomorrow night or Sunday, if it ends up being a late one tomorrow. Thanks for following along guys! This thread has almost 5000 views!

Had a pretty productive day today...I got the inside of the doors and gas cap cover base/cleared, and the actual jams based. It's getting too late to run the compressor, so I'll clear them in the morning.
Color: ![]() ![]() ![]() And the eyecandy...siiick. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And the basecoat of color on the jambs...Taping this off sucked, it took almost 4 hours. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() More pictures tomorrow after clear!

Jambs are cleared, and they turned out awesome! It's so nice to see this much progress this quickly... Tomorrow after my 8am class I'll go get some plastic parts cleaner and have at those mirrors hopefully.

Thank you! Yeah they are all going to be sanded. I back taped every single edge (that's why it took 4 hours), so they're not too hard to begin with, but I'll be going over everything. Unfortunately I haven't found soft edge tape in anything but a case, which is way to expensive for me, so I'll probably end up just back taping it going in the other direction if I can. I'm taking it to a tech school for the final spray (unsure as to whether or not I'm going to be the one spraying or not), so they might have the tape.
Also, I'm not familiar with what a drop coat is...could you elaborate?

Yes sir! Very carefully, and they aren't perfect, but you have to get close to see. I just put the tape over it and then used a razor to cut out the shape. As with all the tape, I retaped it after primer, before base/clear.
Quite honestly, I'm pretty surprised at how well it's coming out too, haha. I'm using low-end paint/clear, and I'm only shooting at like 10psi sometimes, when my gun calls for 16-19psi. I have been consistently impressed with these Astro Pnuematic guns. Probably helps that the past few days have been like 70 and have had humidity less than 30%. I'm glad that I probably won't be shooting the exterior in the garage though...this compressor is just not up to the task. That and it would be very difficult without good lighting.

hey man Drop coat is when u quickly spray base coat on everything kinda like a mist ... soo the metallics and pearls stay up right and u dont get Streaks ... also u can make your own soft edge tape .... folding 1/4 of the tape on it's self hard to explain by typing but im sure u get the idea ...

, but the money isn't there for a JDM front. The Wings West lip is pretty rare, and I like the way it looks, so I'm happy! Thanks for the complimentsQuote:

Got the doors and hatch on today; it finally looks like my car again! However, after another look at the doors, they weren't nearly as straight as I had thought, so I had to spend some time blocking them out more. They aren't perfect, but they look a whole lot better now! I also put the mirrors back together and they are looking bangin'.
Only things left before it's ready for paint: Smooth off the hard paint edges, clean everything, and tape (yep, AGAIN). I wish I had more info about using this booth, because it looks like after this weekend, that is going to be the hold up. I'll keep you guys updated!
