Turn the **** on the left side of the instrument cluster by the steering wheel clockwise? Not trying to sound like an *** but that might help if you havent checked that.

Replace the dimmer switch, might have gone bad.

Almost the same thing just happened to me in my 2001 Prelude. However, my taillights and parking lights also stopped working. Dimmer is fine, fuses appear to be fine, possibly one burnt taillight(just happened tonight so no time to replace). Would love some insight to this. Kind of a pain..

Pull out the voltmeter and start checking the connections behind the cluster. You probably might have a bad connection if everything else was ok...

If your lights for the cluster/interior lights and tail lights go out it is a fuse. You need to check again. Honda has been doing these together for years, solved this problem in my 89 hatch twice and a 2001 accord about two weeks ago. I think that it was fuse #8 under the steering wheel on an EF anyways.

I checked the fuses; again. There are unfortunately no blown fuses. I started messing with my turn signals and interior lighting and then they randomly came back on.. Kind of a good thing and bad thing. Does anyone think this could be linked to having HID's? (the system is wired correctly).

if it is like the 88 cluster all the bulbs have to be good to complete the circuit. If one bulb blows the circuit is incomplete and none of them work

Have you took the cluster complete out and look at the back of it? I had the same problem. My problem was I burnt the back of the cluster out Here is a picture. You know you can try to jump the dimmer switch to see if that is your problem
