You should try to make a couple of races this season It's a lot of fun...just the atmosphere involved with an organized race.

we should host some open practices to show people how to set up their pc's steering wheels and pedals. i spent hours getting my wheel and pedals set up. you'll never be able to push hard if your inputs aren't doing what you expect.

just last night i had to tear down my pedals and clean the sensors in my pedals to get rid of the oxidation. this happens to all racing pedals and you lose 1-2 seconds a lap from it since you can't brake or accelerate as hard. there's a spray you can use at radio shack to do it.

this is bigger than car setup in the game IMO.

also people should know they can race with us with an analog controller also. Slow EJ8 is dominant with his setup.

Most big box stores don't have it anymore...worth trying though. eBay and amazon should have it if you can't find it

1) this guy is so dorky he makes me look cool
2) rfactor looks pretty good, now that my pc will play it i should look into it
3) it is neat to see how his steering inputs relate to the actual vehicle movements.

just fyi, gtr2 is not handling all these mods very well. things were getting pretty hairy with green and i at istanbul when we applied the 2nd f1 mod pack. we kept getting kicked from the server. every mod you add on increases the likelihood of having connection problems like this. there's lots of commentary about this on the forums. i actually disabled game mismatch checking so he and i could log onto my dedicated server.
