My First Honda...CX EG That Was Once Built Stolen Now Being Rebuilt! UPDATED 7-26-10!

So i was cursed with not having a honda as my first car and i was given a ford focus by the parents which as made me spend more money than the cars worth. So my girlfriends brother had the EG that i admired all through high school. Skunk2 LCA, ASR subframe brace, JDM interior Clean White, SiR 1 Piece Spoiler, it was my dream EG about 4 months ago that car was stolen and recovered in Moreno Valley California (FCK Thieves!). So when recovered it was almost nothing, they took everything but the JDM tail lights and Es Oval Exhaust (Must have been N00bs) It sat their and he had no motivation to rebuild it so the opportunity came to me, the car was still clean title still had the stock motor missing tons of stuff. needing tons of cosmetic stuff i purchased the car for $1500. didnt even come with a hood or windshield i got lucky with a member here on ht for the hood and had to pay for a new windshield

Another thing i forgot to add was that the thieves spray painted everything on the interior. the dash center console everything even the hatch shells interior was blue headliner EVERYTHING! i thought poppa smurf ran a muck inside it. Although after hours of scrubbing with goof off from pep boys it came out to be white again

Then One Weekend I Went On A Shopping Frenzy! My first JDM purchase was a MINT! JDM SiR 1 Piece spoiler & Carbon Fiber Duckbill I got both for $200! Then ill Let the Pictures Do the Talking

After heated debate of the question can i spend anymore money in a weekend i realized i got all my JDM stuff and what not but no matter how good my interior looks its nothing if the outside looks like a robot while the inside looks like a car so i focused on body parts i needed a hood,, front bumper and fenders. LUCKILY! my gf's brother had a brand new pair of passwordjdm fenders and sidemarkers he was willing to sell (Why he never installed them when he had the car idk) haha so i purchased those a hood and bumper and this is how the car now sits today!

Im open to comments and opinions keep in mind this is my first car build period im 18 right now and am super excited about this car. lemme know if you have opinions or anything im open to constructive criticism.

So today i went down to the shop to continue another day of work on the EG although i was alot more excited this time because it was more of install goodies day and not hard work day! i installed my nrg wheel combo with my momo and i even picked up some jdm window visors yesterday (Thanks Homer) im not gonna say much ill just let pictures do the talking you guys tell me what you think

-last day at the shop
installed everything that i could in a time frame of 4 hours
actually installed everything on the 4th of july just lagged super hard on updating pics sorry for the
super lag but here you go guys

since we did not have a car lift we used 4 forklifts to raise the car to install my ASR subframe brace and sway bar

ASR subframe brace came out amazing as expected, cant wait to get my skunk2 or srr LCA and my Beaks Tie Bar! Even took
off the black paint on my ES Oval exhaust for extra blingage!

Bolted in my Benen C Pillar Bar which im debating on powdercoating gold and going with a white Benen sticker (feedback)

Last but not least i finally bolted in those JDM SiR-S Front seats that i was searching for for so long!!!! even have pictures of the rear but am still in the process of fabricating the rear bracket and cross bar, when i bought my interior it wasnt included thats why it looks like the back part of the seats are dipping

Ive been thinking things over and have been wondering to get new front seats, buckets or reclinables, i realized how uncomfortable EG seats are and have an opportunity to get some baller seats. still debating on this, thought about getting replicas but dont feel like getting flamed haha

Purchased A Set Of Recaro Speeds, Black Suede with red Recaro on the headrest
Also put a down payment on a motor and all i have to say about that is that i gave into DOHC and glad that i did
got mudguards and should be hooking up the oem stanley fogs and getting jdm headlights and corners soon
builds coming really slow but slow and steady wins the race
also might pick up a beaks bar and skunk2 lca's!
debating on chroming my ASR bar???
