Its actually a 2gen and from what I have been told they are a few hundred pounds lighter then the 3rd.I think they are right around the same as a 92-95 civic hatch or possibly lighter.

Hey guys - this is my car - thanks still_slow for posting it up here

This is a 2nd Gen Prelude (1983-87) it was a 1.8 Carbed car originally and the curb weight is 2268 lbs (about the same as an 88-91 civic hatch i believe

A 3rd Gen Prelude (1988-91) looks similar in shape but is in fact a completely different chassis and the cars share no parts - it is also heavier at approx 2700 lbs

I stand corrected.
Wow, thats really really light. That car must go like a mothafu*ka even with only a pretty much stock h22 motor with a tune.

Nice car man! Any future aspirations with it?

not really- just drive it and enjoy it on nice days - i wasnt trying to build a racecar or the fastest car on the street or anything, just a clean reliable sleeper - and yes it moves really well

Very nice!

This is the first 2nd gen h22 swap I've seen. I personally have a 3rd gen with an h22, and I thought THAT was cool lol. Keep up the good work mang.

And I bet it's still in the 2200-2300 range with an H22. Those A18/20's are heavy
