side draft question

side draft question
I have a d16A1 from an 86 integra in my crx. It currently has sk racing dual side draft carbs I'd like to buy rebuilt webers but need to know how to set them up, so I can tell the builder. Anyone know the correct jets/chokes etc? I want driveability, (decent idle) not speed. Thanks.

Re: side draft question
I was thinking 40's because I've heard they will idle better. I forgot to mention it has a pacesetter header, but factory crx exhaust, which is maybe 1.5 inch. I know very little about carbs, so I was hoping for the easiest set up, and most broad driving range. Thanks a lot.

Re: side draft question
we tried 40s on our ZC and they weren't big enough, so we went to the 45's with 38mm venturis - we do have stage 4 camshafts and our is a ZC - the 86 D16A1 was not quite as powerful as the ZC, so 40s may work fine for you
i would start with the Weber factory baseline jetting and work from there - it should be real close
40 DCOE
Main Venturi--------- 32
Auxiliary Venturi---- 4.5
Main Jet--------------- 115
Emulsion Tube------- F11
Air Correction Jet--- 200
Idle Jet---------------- 45F9
Pump Jet------------- 40
Pump Exh----------- 50
Needle Valve------- 1.75
45 DCOE
Main Venturi--------- 36
Auxiliary Venturi---- 4.5
Main Jet--------------- 145
Emulsion Tube------- F16
Air Correction Jet--- 155
Idle Jet---------------- 55F8
Pump Jet------------- 45
Pump Exh----------- 40
Needle Valve------- 2.00

Re: side draft question
Thank you so much! Question. When you swap a d16 into a first gen crx the engine is slightly cocked toward the front of the engine bay. This creats a 5-10 degree upward angle(I'm guessing) on the sidedraft carbs. I know this isn't ideal, will it run okay.
