So now a days, I'm 188lbs from my lowest of 170. Although a lot of muscle, some fat and I want to get rid of it. I tried doing the normal 40/40/20 but I notice my body doesn't react to well to carbs, so I've decided to go to keto another time. Before, I lost fat and added muscle as well as having stable energy, focus and no hunger cravings. Well Im starting early and quite extreme.
Plan: Sun-1500 cals Mon-1500 cals Tues-900 cals Wed- 900 cals Thur- 1500 cals Fri- 700 cals before 6pm, which I do my workout and start my carb up where I dont count calories Sat- still carbing up I will be doing cardio 4-5x a week and possibly HIIT 2x. I will be weight training 5 days a week in this split Sun: chest/back Mon: traps/delts/abs Tues: off Wed: legs/abs Thurs: Bis/Tris Fri: Depletion workout (hitting all body parts 1 or 2 sets of 20 with light weights) I will be logging starting today when I wake up. 4:15am.....a few bit size pieces of grilled chix breast and <1 oz cheese 8:25...3 omega 3 eggs (210 cals) and some f/f cheese (25 cals) 12:45....1/4 rotisserie chicken (white meat) with skin, 1 tbsp mayo, small side salad with tsp olive oil dressing and suateed green beans 5:00.....coffee with half and half 11:00.....6 eggs and 2 pieces bacon...made with margarine...from dennys....badddd lol 12:15....3 bite size pieces fried tilapia Last edited by playahwitgame; 01-21-2009 at 08:48 PM. |

8:50.....3 eggs (210 cals) w/ f/f cheese (25 cals) 12:25.....1/2 chipotle bowl (chicken, steak, sour cream, cheese, a little bit tomatoes and lettuce) 6:45....workout..hour lift for arms 8:25....other 1/2 of Chipotle bowl and I added some steamed cabbage 11:35....some cheese (150ish cals) and a bite size piece of fried fish 12:20......coffee with cream....I think she used A LOT of cream 4:00.....3 slices roast beef (150 cals) and cheese stick (80 cals) Last edited by playahwitgame; 01-23-2009 at 12:00 AM. |

8:00....cheese stick (80 cals) 10:45....workout #1.....30 minutes of shooting hoops, then 30 minutes on elliptical 12:45...salmon (350 cals) and salad mix with 1/2 tbsp italian dressing (20 cals) 5:55....cheese stick (80 cals) 6:20.....workout#2......20 minute lift for delts and traps, then 50 minutes on elliptical for 810 cal burn 7:50.....1/4 rotisserie chicken (white meat) w/ skin with 1 tbsp mayo sauce and sauteed green beans 12:00....3 alcoholic beverages..bad..I know 1:15am.....1/4 rotisserie chicken (white meat) w/ skin with 1 tbsp mayo sauce and and some peas Last edited by playahwitgame; 01-23-2009 at 09:34 PM. |

1:45....2 eggs (160 cals) with a little cheese (25 cals) 2:30ish....had a cheese and deli meat sample at grocery store 4:30....salad with grilled chicken....dressing (20 cals) 6:50....3 eggs (210 cals) and 1 slice cheese (60 cals) 7:15...more cheese lol (105 cals) 10:00....a little more cheese and some broccoli and cauliflower 12:00.....a lot more cheese Ate a lot mor ethan I should have...primarily in cheese lol. What style of keto diet are you doing?
Most that I have read require a higher intake of fats. Body opus for example. I remember seeing your pics from back in the day

Sludge is awesome, so is the low carb protein brownie. (Basically microwaved sludge)

I was "ehh" with my sludgelol. I used ON whey..I dont know if scivation tastes better or what. It wasnt horrible. a packet of splenda would have made it a lot better

2:50pm....3 omega 3 eggs (210 cals) with 2 turkey sausage patties (120 cals) and half & half (40 cals) in my coffee 5:30....workout...1 hour lift for legs followed by 30 minutes on elliptical for 420 cal burn 7:35....1/2 qdoba bowl (chicken, beef, salsa, sour cream, cheese lettuce) 9:30....other 1/2 of bowl plus cheese (35 cals) 12:00....a bunch of cheese 2:00...2 slices cheese (35 cals) and some deli meat (120ish cals) 3:05am.....sludge brownie (1 scoop why (120 cals), a few almonds, 1 tbsp pb (90 cals) and 2 tbsp half and half (40 cals)) Once again...ate too much. what is your purpose for going on keto? Results from keto are only temporary and is designed for people that are epileptic.

Well, losing fat is my first purpose. Beyond that, I just function better low carb. I dont get tired, I have steady energy levels and I dont crash. I will probably just do keto to get it's fat loss effects and then come back off, then come one again......I just notice I function better
