Default SONEM EF bolt-in hydraulic clutch conversion

For those of you who have purchased a kit and are providing feedback PLEASE try and take installed pictures and posting them here for others to see. i tried taking pics and all you see is wire bundle. i'd have to take off my dash for pics and i really don't feel like doing that because my windshield is in and the car is caged. hopefully one of the guys that will post up a review can do some under dash pics.

Kit includes the bracket, cotter pin, clevis pin, and washers along with detailed instructions and will come in like this:

Prototypes tested and finished!

Finally! Due to popular demand, our EF hydraulic clutch master cylinder conversion that we've put it in production and will be taking orders for them. Our kit will bolt on to your existing pedals and will require very little welding which any welder can do for you as we will include the pieces that need to be welded.

Tired of snapping clutch cables?

Sick of ugly clutch cables?

Love the feel of your buddy's hydraulic clutched EG, DC, EK?

Now EF owners can have it!

The kit features precision laser cut steel TIG welded for strength, powdercoated for durability. Detailed instructions included with every kit. Uses EG/EK/DC clutch master cylinder (not included).

MSRP: $150

email sales@suja1motoring.com or call 630-407-0711 for more information.

additional options:

Clutch arm modification: $10 (+$35 for core exchange)

Honda master cylinder: $100

Honda fluid reservoir: $45

feed line with hose clamps: $10

pressure line kit to any slave cylinder: $75

This isn't the for sale forum, but nice to see something like this out there none-the-less.

Does it actually *FEEL* like an OEM hydraulic car? Like the way EGs feel?

I know 2point2 gave up on his hydro conversion because, if I remember right, it never quite felt right. And he's a pretty smart guy...

i'm not selling them here. please don't get the wrong idea. i spoke with crx toad and he said it's ok to post this for information. this is just to let EF owners know there are finally options out there if you hate the cable clutch feel or sick of the cable cluttering up your engine bay.

my crx has a carbonetics clutch and it feels great... actually, it feels better than my eg but that just has a stock gsr swap in it. it has been tested on a K powered CRX with a clutchmaster fx700 clutch to give you an idea.

it does fit under the dash and does not interfere with anything.

*EDIT* sorry, the vent tube will have to be removed or modified because the master cylinder now lives in the same area.

this is where i have my resevoir mounted.

as for the pressure line, we make a line kit for whatever swap you have. for all you line and wire tuckers out there, i'm sure you can get creative with bulkhead fittings and such.

That's smart. I didnt think of that clutch cable hole we have in our ef. Could use that to run a hose in there. Just gotta figure out where to run the line.

on EF clutch pedals, there's a hook for the clutch cable. on EG/EK/DC clutch pedals, there's a hole for a clevis pin to attach to the master cylinder. provided will be an extended clevis pin and 2 washers. the washers will sandwich the hook and will need to be welded in place giving the EF clutch pedal a hole where the clevis pin will attach the pedal to the master cylinder.

ps: currently, they're raw and not powdercoated yet. powdercoated versions will be available in the future.

Hey man, some of us are at work. If my boss saw me looking at **** like that I'd get fired. Put some NSFW tags on it next time.

As for the kit.....SWEET!

I hope this thread will turn into the product review page for it too. I'm very interested, I'd just like to hear from a group of people that have run this. If its anything like their hard rubber bushing kit i'm sure it will be awesome.
