2nd Annual "2009 Tri-City Meet" [L.A,OC,LBC]

What's up everyone, It's me again getting ready for round 2 of the succesful "tri-city" meet. For those of you that don't know what I'm talking about or didn't attend 2008's Tri-City meet let me explain. All of SoCal as well as people that make the drive from NorCal and other states come together her in Southern California for a full day's worth of meets, cruises, photoshoots and FOOD. It's a great way to see many cars all in one shots and meet new people and maybe come out of this with new friends.

As you can see, the meet was succesful with no problem from local police. People were on their best behavior and I myself met a lot of cool new people.


This thread will start as a planning thread to gather ideas from attendees and once things get planned out it will turn into "official" thread with information and a roster.

Follow Traffic Laws at ALL times!!!!!!

*We don not want to get into any trouble and lets show that we can follow rules.
*When we are on the freeway stay to the right 2 lanes to allow traffic to move.
*Do not use carpool lane; not everyone will have a passenger.
*Stay with your group

Suggestions: A. Photoshoot= Malibu, that famous rock scene we all see in commercials and movies on P.C.H., and about a few minutes drive, that restaurant where they filmed the Fast and the Furious part 1.
B. Food= Since we all went to the Miracle Mile last year to eat, let's go to the Block @ Orange.

Isn't that Gladstones Restaurant? Very nice restaurant. I've gone there a couple times with the family and it's great. But expensive for most and they're ussually pretty busy so we'll check into that. Assuming it's gladstones you're talking about.

Photoshoot in Malibu sounds like a plan. Give me some info as well as a map with the location and pics if u can. This way I can get things planned out if we end up choosing that spot.

^^^I think it is, but correct me if it's not. The Malibu site, I don't know the exact cross street, but it's on P.C.H. going North, pass Malibu Pier. It's pretty close to the Nude Beach, where mostly everyone is naked!!!

If you're a photographer (hobby or proffesion) and plan on taking pics please let me know now if you want any rights on this. Only people who inform me ahead of time will have any say in helping decide vehicle orientation. Please pm me with your name/number and what gear you plan on bringing. I will then make a list of Event photographers. Good to practice your still shots, rolling shots and of course candids as there will be many people.



Also, if youre a videographer (hobby or profession) please let me know. It would be cool if we can have a video put together for this. If you'd like to contribute please pm me.

to eat y dont u try Ricky & Roonies dats where the last two ef meets where held. Its pretty big and they have pretty good food along with two restaurants, one indoors and the other out doors. Heres da adress and link to the last ef meet there
