The Evolution of the SMSP K Headers
I thought I would show the history behind the development of my K header. I made similar posts starting in April of 2002 with the prototype process of the first custom H street header for the Preludes but that development was made public in near real time. So lets take a step back in time shall we.
Hytech was really the first company to develop a custom K series header. Then most of the other stuff that came out seemed to be copies of it. I wanted to build something different and hopefully better. So I took some of the ideas from my B series header design that I developed back in 2000, mainly the location of all the primary tubes side by side for better ground clearance.
The first picture is of my very first K header built for seek167's K24.
The next picture is of the header that's currently on seek167's car.
The next picture is of a 1 piece mild steel K20 header that saw limited testing on the green hornet.
The next picture is of a 2 piece stainless K20 header, along only 1 piece is in the picture.
The final picture is of a 2 piece stainless K24 header.

Very nice products, I have a couple friends that have your header on there Bseries and love, I really wish I could afford your header for my Kseries hatch but I can't so I will have to stick with my crappy DC. Keep making quality pieces.

No way did you just use the term "Fapping" aqua. i thought only 16 year old perverted boys used that term. just kiddin' lol.
On Topic: Is it easier to make these style of headers (for inline 4's) without having to go under the oil pan? I've made a set for a V8 and want to do some honda ones this spring, any tips?
