5 page dicussion over short ram intakes which dont make much power anyway...

Why even waste the time??? If you want power get a CAI... Otherwise your wasting time and money on something that you not even gonna FEEL a difference with...

I got a $10 ebay intake... And I like the sound more than anything else... the plan is for a turbo anyway so who cares... LOL

For those of you that run the SRI and just the velocity stack, are you guys using a panty hose to filter out particles?

an intake dont really make much of a differnce on hp. .
u need to attrack lease heat to make tha better gain. ur tubbing is where it needs to stay cool. and carbon fiber attracks less heat from plastic and metal type tubbing. .
pwjdm has a carbon tubbing tha opens up wider in the middle so air twist 4 smoother vacuum thru ur throttle.

i guess it comes down to opinion from what i read from this thread but i voted the pwjdm whale penis cuz the carbon doesnt attract heat as much as plastic or metal i need to choose an intake for my b16 da and im thinking of going with a whale penis with a velocity stack im looking for a resonable gain and i want that sucking sound to be loud along with my vtec and i think it looks clean imo i guess just buy what ur buget can get cus there all relitively the same from what i read i think that if some one posted actuall hp number gains then it would be easyer to determin the best sri

TBH, I think that all Short Rams are nearly the same even the cheap ebay ones. I would just go with a cheap ebay one and get a K&N filter. That is what I have.
