InjectorDynamics.com Bosch 1000cc
First, thanks to Tony1 for getting a set out here so quickly. The guy is pretty good with math too :p
Uninstalled a set of 1000cc injectors and the resistor box. Installed these with the new clips and fuel rail adapters. Pretty straight forward install as long as it isnt 10:00pm with two kids running around, lol Getting rid of the resistor box and using these clips are a big bonus for us. This is an AEM EMS powered car. First thing I noticed is the car started better. The car was able to hold a solid 15:1 - 15.3:1 idle. The car drove flawlessly at 16.8:1 - 14:1 in vacuum with no hesitations at high vacuum low throttle. Even accel was better. In boost the air:fuel was rock solid as expected. The injectors ran well. Too well. Even ran the car at 9 volts all the way down the track when we lost an alternator belt; I wasnt driving :p . I really can't say enough about these injectors. Everything Tony told me and then some. I'm going to try and stock these injectors for my customers here in Tampa and carry a set with me on the road if possible. Might try and get these on a couple Toyotas/Lexus in the near future. Thanks again Tony

i might have to give these a shot in the near future......
but i don't know if it's a worthwhile upgrade from my high impedance rc750cc injectors. the rc's seem to have a hard time a really low duty cycle maintaining a steady a/f especially at idle. extreme air temperature changes completely throw them off.
i wonder if bosch offers the same style injector in something smaller 800cc? 750cc?

I cannot believe how good these injectors work! My car had never idled this way before. Alpha, thanks for the tremendous job you did on my car! ...and no more resistor box

750 is the biggest RC offers in a high impedance injector.
Alpha, glad you're happy with them. You know I wouldn't recommend something that I wouldn't run in my own car, which i do! lol
non-VTEC, they used to offer a 780cc version but discontinued it because there was no need for it, there was no benefit at all over the 1000cc version. These things really do run like <500cc injectors!

Yes, generally speaking, a peak and hold injector was the better way to go for big injectors, mainly because there was nothing else available. On top of that, a peak and hold injector is only better when used with the proper drive circuit, which 95% of the people running 1000cc P&H injectors don't have.
The real difference that you see and feel is from the atomization of these compared to the other big injectors on the market. Everybody who's used Precision or just about any other 800+cc injector knows that you can't idle and part throttle the car at 15:1 w/o is misfiring. That's something you can easily do with a decent 400-500cc injector and with these 1000cc injectors. The fact that they're saturated is just a bonus.

yes, they are modified injectors. You're not going to find a 1000cc injector that's not a modified smaller injector w/o getting into high end racing injectors.

I really like the idea of getting rid of that damn misfire at idle. that **** annoys the hell out of me. i always try and tune that out but it will only go away in really rich conditions which isnt what we want. what are a set of these running tony? im interested in upgrading
