you should have taken the extra 10 mins to take the handles off before painting.

and it is completely unnessesary to wetsand primer. dry sanding with 600 than 800 is all you need to do.

I think you did great for your first time, I've just spent the last two weeks repainting and I was lucky to have someone to help with bodywork and such.

If you put spacers on the bolts for the little panels under the tail lights they will align better with your trunk lid

nice work for being a first timer!!!
if i was you i would just redo the quarter panel and leave the rest as is... you are putting way too much time into this car imo... now if you're doing it for the experience then redo the whole thing since the more you do the more you learn.

but if its a car that you are gonna be getting rid of soon then just do the quarter panel and paint the side skirts to match and flip it.

It makes little difference if there is (only) 1 qt or 4 qts in the oil pan, yes, oil temps and oil life will vary, but overall its not causing huge major issues.

get a piece of cardboard take it to the good rear wheel well and trace it . cut it out go to the other side and lay it up backwards. Get some Bondo brand Bondoglass and use it. I had to do this on my accord when i had it and it works well. No need to be a pro man do your thing and F$*k the haters. As for the shape of the flare on the fenders also use cardboard its a little harder to get the shape but just cut the cardboard and work it til you get the shape to use it as a template. BTW the bondoglass is bondo with fiberglass hair in it and works wonders goes on thick and cures decently quick. Also wetsand the hell out of it and buff it most of that peel will go away. I do work in my yard screw indoors lol.
