It's a 2.6 that makes 20 more than Skunks old 2.4 from 3 years ago. It makes 2 BHP more per liter than a NASCAR cup, 2 valve/ cylinder engine that has to live for 500 miles instead of 10 minuets.

Probably closer to 340 but it all depends on what dyno. This atricle is in the latest issue of ENGINE MASTERS in case anyone is wondering. They typically dont do import engines, but it is a good read for an enthusiast never the less.
Good to see Belben's kit being put to good use.

Re: FV-QR (1.5Slowmatic)
This is only 155hp per liter. Endyn did a 2.0 B-series for Hondatuning that was 150 hp per liter, on pump gas. Of course you have to factor in that this is a 2.6 liter.
Still very impressive. Not everyday you see an N/A 400+ hp 4 cylinder. 290 ft lb's

That's what I ment by "factor in that it's a 2.6 liter".

Re: FV-QR (HdeucedeuceA)
One word. Gadang. I knew the K-series was capable of some serious power, but damn... 400hp N/A?? That just gave me a hard-on.

And do you honestly think that the people writing this article have more knowledge then lets say Norris P. or Jeremy L. ?
I'm sure their motors would make more than that on an engine dyno as well. . .

Re: FV-QR (2fastGSR)
Well I am glad to see that everyone so far likes the article.
This is our "Old Motor" that was done well over a year ago.
The car actually made 363whp and 265ft tq. Since I did this article was completed, we have made some huge gains. Anyone that knows, this was the same motor that was in our All Motor CRX. We have had some "techincal" not mechanical issues that have prevented us from getting the car dialed in, not to mention tranny issues, which are now resolved with the New Go-Power Dog Box.
This was the first Honda motor that was done in Engine Masters. If you like this type of article, please email the editor (Steve Dulcich) and let him know your thoughts. This was a push for me to get us to include more Import "of interest" motor in some write-ups.
In the coming weeks, once the season is over, I will post the newer dyno of our motor. We have since installed Go-Power Motorsports Cams which woke the motor up !
Thanks for everyone's comments (Good or Bad) !

Just for Referrence, Jeff Giovino @ Go-Power Motorsports was the former Skunk2 R&D Director, who started his own business. So your answer would be yes he has A LOT of Knowledge on the K Motors !

Re: FV-QR (regamaster)
I actually worded that response entirely all wrong.
The person i quoted tried to downplay the article by saying Bisi made more than that with an F, i was TRYING to point out the fact that other race all motors could do that too.
Wasn't trying to knock the people in the article, as it looks like i was.
Sorry about that . . . .
to me
