UPDATE!!!
As of today I have the car back in my hands. Woke up nice and early today. I wanted to pick up my car and most of the parts at the shop before work. I'm really impressed with the job this shop did. The paint looks great and most important the panels aren't waving bye to me. It will probably have some flaws here and there. I'm a little upset b/c I kindly ask him to use paper towels underneath the bolts. This way the paint wouldn't chip or stretch when removing the front suspension. No biggie, it was addressed. The body guy told me there would be no problem bringing the car back. I'll be ordering my brake tuck parts soon. I wanna get that out of way so I can get cracking on putting the interior back together. being that the space in my garage is limited. Here are some pictures. Car was just quickly wipe down with a damp cloth. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Toyota WTF!?!??!?!? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thats all for now. Stay tuned. Brake tuck coming soon. |

Update...
So we have been fortunate enough to get some nice sunny days lately. Perfect timing being that I just got the car back from the shop. The order is in for the earls plumbing parts. I won't be seeing those parts for a few days. So I took some time to put some parts back on the coupe. I haven't completely put back the interior. I'll leave like this till at least I have the motor in and running. Considering, I'm going to be rerouting the brake lines and tucking wires. I will need space to work. Here are some pictures. Enjoy. Door handles. What a pain. I have them figured all out now. LOL ![]() Supports back on. ![]() ![]() ![]() Polishing the tail lights. ![]() ![]() Installing rear filler piece. ![]() ![]() Along with license plate lights. ![]() ![]() ![]() Starting to look great! ![]() Along with moldings. ![]() ![]() So Straight I love it!!! ![]() ![]() Cleaned up and installed the bumper cover ledges. ![]() On to the window trim. ![]() ![]() Pulled the front suspension. This will be sent out to be refinished. ![]() Gas Tank cleaned up. ![]() Cleaning up the interior panels. ![]() ![]() So, I wasn't happy with the first job we did on the headliner. The fabric was heavy and didn't have much stretch to it. After sitting in my house for 2 months it began to sag and look like crap. Went over to the fabric store picked up some wacky print. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And to match! ![]() Rear deck cleaned up and reinstalled. ![]() Thats all for now. Stay tuned. Brake tuck next! |
