1998 #1036 is dead
So I had a bad accident last night and would like to inform those who manage the registry that 1998,#1036 is no more.
Paramedics at the scene said that there was a small chance someone could have survived a wreck like this.
Unfortunately it was dark last night and wet, so no one was able to take pictures of the scene last night. We went back today to recall the incident and pick up any fallen personal items left behind.
I lost control of her in a turn right when rain was staring to poor down(I was not speeding but was near the speed limit of that road of 45mph), she got tail happy and was not able to recover in time. She went up the embankment, flipped twice while coming down and came to a stop on the driver side.
I would like to thank the community for useful info I received here throughout the years I've owned her. I'm now spooked and don't know if I'll ever get back in an R in the future.
I'm happy that I'm alive and I was able to walk away with just cuts and bruises.
At no further a due, here are photos.......

I'm very sorry for your loss, but I'm very glad you are okay. Sounds like you have your head on straight. Top priority is you, it is just a caR. I wish you the best with the recovery physically, mentally, etc. I hope the insurance process goes smoothly, I hope even more that they won't try and rip you off. Grace and Peace.
You are my brother(I'm 98-1040).

Thank you everyone for your kind replies!
I will get some good rest this week and hope everything settles nicely. I surely will remember the good times I had with her. Too bad I was not able to attend any of the expo's while in her possession.
The funny thing is, a few weeks ago, I was talking it over with the wifey about selling the R.
Saying that I didn't want to worry about where I parked her and if she was to be stolen, I'd be wondering and worrying day and night about her whereabouts!
I don't quite see it as over yet until I can get her remains and scavenge off some parts. Only then will I have complete peace of mind.
So we'll see how things go from here.
Thanks again guys and I'll surely still lurk around this forum once in a while!
