A couple of updates..

I have finished off welding the main part of the chassis.
New chrome moly cross members to add a bit more strength..

Once all the Fab work is done the chassis will be blasted and powder coated..

Had lined up the hilux differential, it seems that the shop that modified the housing did not take into account the offset of the centre (too many assumptions).

Due to the tunnel being so small I need to modify the housing again to move it over 40mm to get it centre..

Cheers

I would love to come see this one day, I am in VIC also with a garage full of old school Honda metal. PM me if I can come check it out.

I think with an original motor they are superb, but if your car is not great to start ie, matching numbers or complete then an engine conversion is fine - as long as it's still honda powered. In this case an F20C, well what can I say? The best modern Honda engine for one of the most desirable Honda classics!

James

P.S my garage............and still NO S800 coupe car yet!!!!!!

Still looking!

Hi All,

I received two pairs of S800 front brakes yesterday from the states (sea freight don’t you love the wait.. 4 months )

S800 Dunlop Sumitomo front brakes (this pair I will clean up and put aside)

Here’s the second pair in intend to use.. They have been modified to suit Mazda PCD. I will modify them with Gemini Knuckles and custom made hubs ford PCD to suit the rear hilux PCD..

I have also raised the engine and gearbox to get greater clearance off the road

Will probably go with a bonnet bulge similar to this below..

Any suggestions on scoop or bonnet bulge?

Cheers
