Default H22 Accord Coupe Build Thread, This time i'm doing it right!!

Well, I've been driving this accord for over 3 years now and in the meantime
I've done quite a bit to it as far as appearance, JDM parts, H22, Suspension, etc.
Here's what it has looked like in the past:

And here is pretty much how it sits now :

So i was converting from an auto to manual tensioner on the H22 recently and
I ran into a few issues so i decided i needed to pull the motor out to fix it.
I then decided that since i was pulling the motor out i may as well tackle a few more
projects while i have the motor out and see how it goes.

I'm hoping to do the following :
Auto to manual tensioner, Water pump, Timing Belt, Head studs, all new gaskets,
New clutch, and a WIRE TUCK

So here goes, this is what i'm working with, I will update the pics everyday!

Quite a wiring Mess I'd say

Here's her heart

how far are you going with the wire tuck? even a slight one definitely cleans up the bay quite a bit. good luck on the whole project as well.

Still not sure, i'd like to go pretty far with it, i guess it depends on how long the motor will be out the car

Yeah the rear deck comes out pretty easily.
just unscrew the 2 10mm boltsthat hold the 3rd brake light on,
take out the bulb and remove the brake light.
then the deck will come off, its held on by a few clips, they just pop off

Thanks

The other day I got that bolt extracted that broke off inside the block.
I also fixed the threads for the water pump bolts and got that installed.
I've just been working on some wiring now,
and I'm gonna deep clean the engne bay later today

Since you have the motor out I would suggest doing any preventative maintenance that you have not done i.e. timing belt, oil pump, etc. Also Paint the bay. It is the perfect time and it will look so much better.

I have a new water pump and timing belt already. I alo purchased a complete gasket kit and will be replacing all of those soon.

As for the painting, I really wanna do that, I've been thinking about it a lot.
