Default Honda S800 with added bite.

Hi everyone,
New to this forum but I co-run a web site in the uk http://www.mcr-vtec.co.uk.

This is my S800 as I got her, she has had a Kawasaki ZXR900 engine installed and I got her as a nearly finished project after selling my old one to Bozwell on here.

Here are a few pics..

Some newer pics

She also now sports a brake servo which has helped enormously and a trick shifter which allows for full throttle up shifts by cutting the ignition momenteraly and consecutive down shifts without the need for heel toe as pressure is applied to the level to downshift the trick shifter revs the engine for me to engage the next gear.

i love people who still do crazy work on classic cars.

must be a good amount of work to mate the bike engine to that trans.

AWESOME!!!! Not saying the car is bad in anyway (I bet its faster than anything I have)...but just to make it a pure Honda...how about use some honda motorcycle technology under the hood

Its so much faster in every respect, off the line, second gear wheelspins, drift it on request and its geared for about 130mph. Yet to take it on the Drag Strip but I have just fitted a LSD from Phantom Grip so that should make it a bit more useable..

If I had done the conversion then it would have been Honda, but it wasn't my choice.

Reverse is coming soon, which will be a starter motor which will engage a sprocket on the end of the diff but only when neutral light is on.

Uses the bike gearbox running a short prop to a transfer box which is the back half of the original S800 box, 2 gears live in here which can be altered to requirements. uses the original S800 prop and diff and axel.

Engine specs, 140bhp std ZX9R engine / car weighs in at 505Kg..
