need a little help here. i was planning on going with the 98' front end with itr lip. but then i started to feel like it's really getting played out. and your always seeing jdm front ends. but rarely do you see 97' itr front ends. i love the look of the 98' and like the look of the 97' itr, and i want my car to be a little diff. what do ya think?

Its always awesome to see somebody take a car under their wing and make it something nice. By the way I think that you should go with what you think looks best. Every possible combination has been done on these cars.

well today i took all of this crap, worn out suspension off

now it all sits in boxes here waiting for new poly bushings, new balljoint, and wheel bearings.

there is always at least one seized control arm bolt. freaking sucks.

The question is, is the frame straight???

Also I would suggest hard rubber bushings instead of poly, and stock upper control arms (not adjustable ones). Just some thoughts.

yeah the frame is straight actually. if it wasn't the seam sealer and some paint would be cracked in some places. it looks good just the l/r quarter panel is going to have to be replaced. somebody replaced it before and did a horrible job.

well some small updates for ya

found some more rusty parts

got them painted

decided to keep the abs, so i got some of the o-rings to fix the leaks

old o-ring

well this is where the door hinge is supposed to bolt onto. the old owner for some reason got rid of the nuts on three of the four spots.

got one cut out to weld new nuts on. all the new bolts just arrived from honda also.

dang, I need to cut a hole in my frame rail near that same area (where you cut out the door hinge) to fix my water leak.
