Default Chef's been Cooking!!!!! What I been doing for the past year: Timeline

Well I been on this site for awhile but never really posted any pics of my car. I'm nearing completion so I had a freind of mine take some cool pics for me. I'm going to do a little time line for now and eventually edit this to a full build thread. Constructive critism is always welcomed.

In febreaury of 2007 I got in a fight with a cadillac in my old hatch. I got my ass beat, lol. It was ironic because I was actually sending it for paint in a couple of days. I had it from 2002 all the way until that day. Here are some pics:

Day of accident

The insurance company totaled it and gave me a measley $1200 dollars. I was happy with that though because they let me turn it back to stock before they took it. The accident happened in front of my house so I just pulled it back in the yard.

In desparate need of a car I came up on the car I have now. A 1993 DX that was converted to RHD. The interior was in pretty decent shape but the exterior needed help bad. It had "time attack steelies" and the front end was all different colors. It had a complete SiR2 interior but I sold it because it was purple. First thing I did was have the Single cam taken out and put my B16a2 in it. I also put my old front end on because it was still good. Here are some pics.

Fast forward a few months I got REALLY bored with the car so I sold the motor and begin collecting parts for a K series. Shit started getting expensive so scrapped that idea and sent it for a paint job. A lot of money later and I had this.

Put a single cam in it and drove it home. From there it sat for another couple of months and then I got some motivation to work on it. Started stripping it back down and cleaned it and started a wire tuck. Let's just say that it's ALOT harder then it looks. Here's some pics of that progress.

Rusty ass battery tray

Picked up some parts for the swap. Original plans were a B20 but I ended up with a LS for cheap.

Put the engine swap on hold for a few months and started collecting parts to put the exterior back together. I was aiming for a clean but aggressive look. I think I got what I was looking for.
OEM HONDA GOODNESS!!!!! I tried to buy majority of the moldings and misc clips so everything was nice and fresh. Parts are expensive but worth every penny.

Other Misc crap I bought.
Couldn't find Vision teardrops to save my life so I bought these off egay. APR CF mirrors.

To help that look I was going for

I saved for a long time for this so even though the car wasn't running I had to mock it up.

Here's a couple things fresh back from paint. J's racing spoiler, you need the jdm Sir spoiler as well for this to work. I also had my new OEM side skirts color matched.

Bored and broke I pulled my Ksports off and cleaned them up a little bit.

My girlfreind suprised me with an awesome gift. I had my wheels in the boxes for like two years and I was complaining I didn't have money for tires. Came home one day and look what was there!!!!!! Yeah She's a keeper!!!!

Had them mounted at work the next day.

HHHHMMMMMM sexy!!!!!!!!!!!

Soooooooooooooooo I went and did something very bad. Let's just say I owe Visa alot of money. And my girlfreind was pissed at me for like a month and a half. I called up Vivid racing and got myself some seats. I highly reccommend these guys. I actually got a REALLY good deal.
Status Ring buckets in CF with regular cloth material. I wanted them in FRP but they were on back order for like six months so I splurged and got these.YYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH

Second one came about four months later.

A local member was parting out his show car so I picked these up for $250. Pretty mint too.

After the heat blew over my girlfreind decided we needed to redo the panels and the armrest. Looked for about a week before I found the fabric. I figured it was a good time the paint my panels as well.

Now my focus went back to the engine because HIN orlndo was coming up in a few months. I was a little disappointment with the stock LS so I contacted Phil at Spoolin performance. I bugged the shit out of that guy for like two weeks before I ordered. Slowly pieced together a kit. He sold a B series manifold package so I bought that.

Fast forward a little bit and the car is back together. Carlos at Label one garage came through big time for me. He dropped in the engine for me and installed the turbo kit.

Got the car all back together and running for a local meet. Still quite a few kinks to work out but I'm happy FOR NOW. Here are the pics.

Here are the "bread and butter pics". My boy Nelson (Souless photography) Hooked me up with these bad ass pics the other day. He made the car look alot better them it is. Check em out.

There you have it. A breif timeline. I will go back and edit things later. Let me know what you think.
