Are there any differences?

or is it the same?

They flow differently
Type R 223.6 cfm
Integra 218.3 cfm

but its not enough to make a difference.

compair a carsound cat
Car Sound 2.25" 342.7 cfm

How much would it flow if your stock cat was hollowed out?? Yes I know after that you can't pass emissions and blah blah blee. But, I was just curious. Because...well...ya see I have this friend and...well he umm...OK! so I hollowed out my cat and I wanted to know THANKS.

ITR cat is too long to fit a 94-99 GSR. Should fit an LS or 00/01 GSR.

well a testpipe flows -> 2.25" 407.1 cfm

hollowing out your cat is not a good idea, because it still has a 2" inlet and outlet. Get a carsound cat so that it is the proper size for your exhaust system.
