Default Yonaka full coilovers

So I just got my Yonaka coilovers after a 2 month wait but am glad i got them. I ordered them from Stat Racing which is one of our sponsors for if you can believe it $499. This is the best price on coilovers i have found now they aren't valve adjustable but ride height is also they are for a EG/DC but i have forks so no prob. Under first inspection they seem well made and of good quality here is what they look like

So i got them in I did have to do a little modification but i kinda expected that since there For EG/DC. The only gripe i have right know is the front is all the way down. I took out all the preload and lowered the perches almost all the way down to get my car where i wanted. The back could go down alot more but dont need to. I also went for a test drive and loved them it felt firm but still smooth and pretty comfortable. You can feel the road but its not like really harsh it feel nice I havent really thrown it through some corners yet but what i have felt very good. The spring rates and valving are matched perfect i was a little wierded out when i read that they were 12k front and 6k rear. But like i said they felt well balanced

12k = 672 lb/in... sounds EXTREMELY high for street use.

for some reason i cant see the pics. What modifications did you have to do to make them fit on your da? How hard was it?

i had to clearance the fork so they dont rub on my axles and make the fork bolt hold the brake line you can check out all the work i did here

now for the install

had to grind clearence for the axles so they dont rub and it worked great no rubbing at all

Also no brak line brakets so i drille this out to mount it on the fork bolt

i want somebody who's had experience with mid range - high end suspension setups post a review. None the less the yonaka full coilovers should out perform your hold ebay/stock shock combo.

Any warranty for these coilovers?

I'm not following this. The axles should not be touching the forks at all. Also, the shock fork on each side should be a mirror image of each other. In that pic above, those are 2 forks from the left side of the car (although they look slightly different). You're not using both of those on the front of your car are you? If so, that's why the axle was rubbing, and you really need to get the correct fork on there ASAP.

well first off i drive a DA these coilovers are for a DC. Next the fork on the left is stock and right is DC notice how much more the one on the left has more arch or curve. The reason for that is to clear the axle so to use the dc forks and my coilovers i made a small clearencs area to clear my axle. Now i dont really have any problems and many people have done a DC to DA suspension swap. that is why there wuld have been rubbing but i have fixed it before it started

Why didn't you just use the DA forks, and attach them to your new coilovers?

That looks dangerous.

The DA shocks are smaller than the the Dc ones .... he has to use the DC forks.
The little shaving that was done will not affect the car's suspension

Wasn't aware of this, I thought they were the same.

I've never owned a DA, only DC's.

Do you have them all the way down? How low are you when they are raised all the way up?
