F20A + H23 mod
Hi,
I read this topic https://honda-tech.com/zero...22289 and lot of other similar topics form different forums, now I have a lot of questions .
First of all I have '93 Accord Coupe (CC1), 2.0 F20A7, 98KW. Thats basically the same engine as Prelude's F20A4.
If i'm going to put H23 intake manifold onto F20A7, what changes I have to do, to get it work properly?
F20A7 doesn't have IAB valve, what can I do with that, how can I get it work on H23 IM? Do I also have to change the ECU. - If yes, then can I use Prelude's ECU?
I also want to install H23 exhaust manifold. Maybe You can suggest a different exhaust manifold which might be better?
Sorry, if my English is bad and/or complicated . Thank You!

Sorry bro, I don't think you're going to find much help from us boys here in the States. We never got to enjoy the 2.0L Accord. T.........

Okay, should have read it first. Looks like it's plug and play. Which means, pull your old one off, slide the H23 IM on, and enjoy a better breathing motor

Thanks for reply.
I'm form Estonia. Here, in Estonia I don't know anybody who have done that kind on mod, I have asked people, nobody knows. And I don't know any big forum in Europe region which is in English language.
And then I found This forum, I thought I might find help here . So I hope that somebody can help and answer my questions .
In my opinion the f22a1 and f20a7 should be almost the same. If the h23 IM goes to f22a1 then it should go onto the f20a7 as well. Only big different between h23 and f20a7 IMs that I know is the IAB valve, F20a7 doesn't have IAB valve. So, what do I have to do to get the IAB valve work if I put the h23 IM to f20a7 head?

The thread you linked to is covering an H23 IM onto an F20 head. They say it bolts right up with no modification. Easiest way to figure it out is to buy an H23 IM and try it
And if your doesn't use the IAB valve, leave it disconnected/cap it and forget about it. Shouldn't throw any codes considering your factory ECU (base map) doesn't know to look for one.

I am pretty sure it will fit, and you will see significant gains throughout the rev range.
H23A exhaust manifold should fit too, but if your F20A has a tubular 4-2-1 header it won't make a difference.
H23 intake manifold has increased plenum volume and a larger throttle body which really helps airflow into the motor.

Hi!
Question - does the H22A7 exhaust manifold fits to F20A7?
which might be better by performance, H23 or H22A7 exhaust manifold, to F20A1?
