2nd - Re-use OEM 2nd Gear
3rd - 1.625 or 1.695
4th - 1.296 or 1.384 (Slight modification required to transmission casing when installing 1.384)
5th - 1.000 or 1.130 or 1.210
RECOMMENDED SYNCHROS: When ordering your MFactory Close Ratio Gears, we highly recommend that you order our Carbon-Moly Synchros at the same time. By utilizing a carbon/molybdenum coating technology, which acts as braking material during gear engagement, this allows for quicker and more precise shifting. PRO Dog Gear Sets
Our premier transmission upgrade, the MFactory PRO Series Dog Gear Sets includes our newly redesigned Straight-Cut Shafts & Gears, increasing drivetrain efficiency and virtually eliminating Axial Shock Loads. Please note that Dog Engagement is not recommended for use on the Street.
As requested by our large number of drag racing customers, we are proud to offer our PRO Series Gear Set for the B-Series transmission, designed to withstand high-horsepower boosted applications! A highly recommended upgrade for those running 500hp+.
By keeping our gears synchronous engagement, our gears are a direct swap for your oem gears with no further parts required for installation and, unlike a dog transmission, are suitable for a daily driver.
Whether used standalone or alongside our PRO Series Gear Sets, our redesigned PRO Series Final Drive Gears increase drivetrain efficiency and are the final link to fine-tuning your race transmission.
By changing your final gear ratios, you can experience a dramatic increase in acceleration throughout the rev-range, giving you on average, a 15% increase in torque at any given speed over the OEM Final Drive. All work to your transmission is performed by our 12 year Honda/Acura Factory Certified Master Technician. Guillaume "G-Man" Marceau's meticulous work style and racing oriented background allow for him to assemble your transmission with your specific application in mind. All work is done in our dedicated cleanroom allowing for optimal longevity and performance. During assembly, our special methods and procedures are utilized that help our own Team MFactory cars perform above all of the competition.
