Mod: Tints!
The first thing I did was tint the windows. I couldn't stand how clear it was inside the car. The front windows are 35% and the rears and back window are 20%. I think it looks 10x better. Here is some pictures.

Mod: Manual shift boot!

The second thing I did was change out the shift console with a manual shift boot. Ive done this to my last cars because they have been automatics. I'm too lazy to drive manuals anymore, unless it has some power which none of mine dont. Ill be looking to replace the knob with something soon, but until then, it will work. Here's some pictures.

After

thanks man, in NJ any tint on the front windows is illegal, thats why I went with 35%. the manual boot swap was like $45 from the dealer, they had to order it, but that only took about 4-5 days. I have the part # and I was going to create a DIY later today for it.

cool, in alabama we're not supposed to have below 35% on the front, but everyone around here runs 5 or less sometimes even on the windshield, and i had 20% all the way around on my mustang and never even got looked at the wrong way, so i figure there def not gonna waste their time with a civic lol
and will you pm me when you get the DIY up? and the part number, i'm interested in that, just dont have the spare cash, im about to buy a drop in K&N air filter just so i wont have to pay for one ever again lol

I dont care too much for autos either, it's that I just didnt buy a honda for the performance qualities of the car. I bought a honda for the economical qualities it has. You can't beat the 38-40 mpg ive been getting, compared to the 20 mpg in my BMW.

Hey Cool, those are the same exact rims I would like to get on my stock 04 civic lx sedan. I was wondering how much did you get them for?

A little update, finally got around to putting in a stock coupe grille, I think it looks a lot cleaner. Enjoy

It looks a lot better with that grille in my opinion. Keep up the good work dude. By the way, does anyone know if that grille fits an 01 Civic Sedan? I'm thinking about replacing the stock one to that. It looks more aggressive. Also, where did you get it from and how much?

i believe you have to get one from a 01-03 coupe, as the 04-05 wont fit correctly. There have been people who have done, it just doesnt fit 100%. I got this off civicforums, from another member for $40.

Quick question about your manual shift boot swap above. Did the trim ring, not the leather boot (around the shifter) come with it? Did the dealer let you pick / match your current interior color for the trim? Thanks!
