Does anyone have any experience with these particular seats?

I was looking into those, and that site has an awesome deal on those seats. But if you include shipping charges, your just better off getting them off of ebay for 200.00 with free shipping.

That site chargers something like 150.00 for those, or at least in my area. It' crazy.

Keep the comments coming. There are over 150 views and only 5 reviews. I am looking for people that have experience with these seats. Thank you for those that have taken the time to post a comment.

I have these seats in my EK and love them. They are pretty comfy for daily driving and for the price you cant beat the quality. Here are some pics of them in the hatch. (dont mind the floormats lol) the seats match the jdm type r shift boot and NRG type r wheel really nice.

Don't you have to buy brackets separately and what sliders do you use?

the seats usually come with sliders, you just have to buy brackets, which arent expensive

Very cool. Thank you for the pictures. I just received an email from NRG, the seats are not DOT approved. I don't want to spend the insane price tag for the real seats just to have someone "borrow" them eventually. I don't know. Keep the opinions coming.

How long have you had the seats? On another forum someone said the reclining mechanism is crappy.

I used the NRG sliders and mounting brackets for the EK. I have had the seats for a few months and havent had any problems with them. So far they have been a good seat for me.

Those Seats SUCK ASS!.. i had 2 sets.. one in black for like a day.. i drove from redding cali to San diego county.. HURT for long drives.. but for how cheap they are.. for daily driving from point a to B.. there Ok.. Material wasnt too bad.. stitching sucked.. cheap seats what do u expect...?

Yes u gotta buy ur own Mountin Brackets.. sliders are POS also.. the Red set i owned.. was Nice and shiney red.. wasnt as dull as the black ones.. Red with Black stitching.. almost like the JDM ITR recaro's in red.. But without the recaro emblem..!

i've sat in these seats before and quality is okay. I'd rather go with 94-97 integra seats.

I'm saving up for some flash for my interior...that's made of cloth because I don't have A/C lol. My "leather" ones are stupid hot in the sunlight. Gonna be going for the red cheese. I'm getting involved in this thread because I'd like to know any and all things about my future investment before I burn some more cash. I'd rather not get the real recaros because I'm paying off a bike.

from NRG's website:

I like how the thigh bolsters on the red are thicker/taller than the black, but I want the black w/red stitching LOL anyone know if there is a difference between the 2 on that? can the black w/red stitching come with the thicker/taller thigh bolsters?

JDMCARBOY is a lousy company. I have purchased a few things from them and each time the screwed up my order, and they never return phone calls. Horrible customer service.

my cousin got those 3 months ago.....1 week later, the welds broke underneath the seat...reclining mechanism broke and sucks....the brackets/sliders that you have to buy, total CRAP!! the brackets get in the way when you try to slide it pulling up on the handle and if you are not careful, it will jam your hand in the front bracket...

Other than that, they are nice seats
