Function & Form Type 1 Coilovers
Ive searched and searched and have found mixed opinions on these coilovers...im about to buy them but dont want to drop 600 on them if they arent good. Will these be alright for daily driving or should i just go with ground controls and agx's? thanks 98 ek

Re: (powerneedy)
do you have pictures of your car with it turned near halfway down as you described? i just want to get a general idea of how low that actually cause, different people define "low" differently. Thanks!

Re: (shadohconspiracy)
They go unpractical low. They were somewhat designed to go low.
And the quality is the same as the type II. Not wimpy stuff.
I think you will be happy with them. especially for the price.

Put mine on last night. They ride AMAZING.
Theres no way you can ride with them all the way slammed, these things can drop your car STUPID low. I went pretty conservative with my drop. Tucking tire, but it still rides perfect.
For pics of the install and stuff, go here:

Re: (Morasso)
hm.. interesting information you have there regarding your install on the F/F'
Not bracket for brake line, I'll have to watch out for that (i picked up the F/F Type Is a few weeks back, haven't installed them yeT)
also good to know ahead of time now to lower the coils all the way (as I was going to do that initially just to see how low it goes)
One question I have for you, I thought it was a bit funny, but appears to be useful, how did you measure the drop with the tape? i.e. where you measure the where you adjust it, the whole coilover itself, etc...
looks clean brotha!

the type I's are not shock adj correct? if they aren't i'd love to see a comparison between the type I's and PIC's apex full coilovers.

I measured from the top of the top hat (Just the plate portion not the studs) to the bottom of the coil.
