The turnout was insane and I had a great time. I want to thank Jonathan for getting the ball rolling on this meet. He has been asking for this meet for over a year and he finally got it done.
I want to thank Ben for organizing one of the best meets I have ever been to and bringing the level of cars we saw. I want to thank Toyo tires, Monster, and Solstice tint (sp?). Last but not least, a huge thanks to HENDRICK HONDA and their employees for everything.

also, anyone that knew anything about the bust knew that the stories that were released were terribly twisted from their origin

welcome to the south, they are usually muscle biased... most people hate imports because for a while there was nothing but 4 foot wings and 5" exhaust welded onto stock cars... kinda like why most import guys hate third gen camaros...
but we had it all... even a Third Gen with a 383. but back on topic... the MUGEN CRX inside was the hotness, anyone else see the MR2 with the T67?

Pretty good meet besides some FAGGOT spitting on my car windows. If you cant respect peoples property you need to Just GO Kill YOURSELF.

Yeah I mean the meet was ok...but driving 3+ hours to get there then not get in to the regular parking kinda pissed me off, but then someone spitting on my car in overflow really made me mad. It was my birthday yesterday, and because of that incident the meet was not all that great.

that sucks bad dude. I knew there had to be a ton of people coming from a pretty long way that were getting turned away. The last HT meet we had in charlotte, we had people coming from South Florida - i can only imagine coming that far and being told there wasnt room for me.

Biggest props to Kareem and Jonathan, as they were the main reason this meet went down. Without those guys, there wouldve been no event. Jonathan worked harder than anyone especially on this, so i give hats off to him 1st and with the most respect!
As for parking, we had some issues with traffic, and this could not be helped. I would apologize for it, but free monster, tshirts, and food was well worth what everyone got, for FREE might i add. Next one will be $1-5 dollars per spot possibly, seeing that people dont enjoy to get free stuff. Also, we wanted everyone to come. It wasnt a honda tech meet, it wasnt a honda meet, it was a hendrick honda meet, part of the hendrick automotive group. This was to test a theory, and it worked better than we ever wouldve expected, so with that we thank everyone for coming. A few of you speak on cars you didnt want to see inside, and i can agree, but when working with a staff trying to learn, and people coming out to support you, its very hard to. we cut the lot at 250 not on my words, nor jonathan or kareem, but the GM's words. Those are stiff rules and we had to stick to them. Then with a few standing up there, along with the GM, the GM picked and sorted through cars to come down on the lot. I am not throwing blame, but its really nothing to get so mad over. It will show you guys that next time will be more packed, and that next time expect a better turn out. I will have different parking situations for everyone next time, and maybe some more stiff rules for what does and doesnt get in, but i will say that if you have not planned and organized a meet or event of this caliber for a company or corp please dont make comments that are off what you would do. Its one thing to throw a meet, but its another to work with a company, and have to work across the board. Many people wouldnt know what to do, and its something thats very hard to do with a small team without being biased. There was a well mixed crowd, and that was the goal. Thanks for everyone coming, and the next event is already being set in stone, with more information about Hendrick Automotive Group, Hendrick Motorsports, and the 2009 year of events approaching fast.
