and here is a newish upgrade for my machine... my $12 back purge setup!

how much are those cast colectors?

I had alot of fun building my K-series manifold... just be careful. some welds can be a real bitch to reach if you don't plan it out right. hahaha. I'm looking forward to more pics.

the cast collectors are about $150 from Z10 motorsports..

as for the welds bein hard to reach, been there...

see the flapper wheel in the pic...

its a 120 grit flap wheel.. sometimes i use burr bits..

secrets of the trade my friend...

i learned how to weld from 60 and 70 year old men...

heat the tungsten... and then bend the tungsten.. hooked tungsten ftw! i'll take pics...

I did that by accident once when I touched the tungsten to the puddle and tried to pull it away too slow. Now I do it when I have to weld in awkward places.
Note: this doesn't mean I'm actually good at welding in awkward places.
