Any extra weight if you are using an Automatic transmission with the Ecotec? Any extra weight if you have a K engine? What about a dog box?

From what I gather only weight added is if you are running an Ecotec (200lb) or if you are running N2o (200lb) correct?

Any info on how the track will be preped?

No penalty for auto or K. My car will be 2900+ lbs at this event. Trying
to keep as outlaw as possible. Do the competitors not think this is fair?
Track will be well prepped, I will make sure of that with the etown staff.

i still have a car to put back together and still need to spend probably another 2g's on that..... can we do a partial payment or does that complicate things?

also.....how about crew and stuff getting in free? maybe see if the track is willing to work out that each car that enters gets 10 free pass's or something?

reason i say this is i have a bunch of customers that are already excited about coming to the event.....that might be just that little extra incentive to pack the stands.

could almost be a "test" from a marketing stand point.....at the end of the weekend they can add up all of the "free" tickets that were received? who knows what the hell im talking about? not me haha

edit: on the free entry i dont think etown could complain too much b/c its pretty damn clear this is going to make the event a LOT bigger than it would have been.

also....its good for the shops that have cars coming out....its a way for them to help out their friends and customers for their support

I think its a great Idea for each race team to get 10 passes to hand out. Just means that out of the 10 passes they hand out maybe 5 weren't going to come, means 5 more people in the stands per team and more money for them to spend on food and drinks.

Just my 2 cents

Joe - I will talk to etown RE: the free tickets. Also, deposits aren't due until end of August, if you want to send a partial deposit, that is fine. I am keeping track of it all.

I've stayed at the hilton new brunswick (across street from days inn, and RIGHT off the pike) and it's very nice and was only 114 a night last year. We can get an entire wing if we wanted too

Well you can add nitrous to your set up then and be right at weight! \

The Paypal Echeck is the best thing also , less money taken out no matter how much you send through Paypal ECheck. Just some info on that, when you send a payment it pulls from your Checking account associated with Paypal and takes up to 5 business days to clear. It is a great option to ensure you have 99.9% of the money for the pot

Default Re: Inaugural Outlaw Street FWD $10,000 Shootout - October 11 & 12 Old Bridge Township Raceway Park,

every year since Powerade Nationals have been back at Virginia Motorsports Park, I've been at Etown Racing for points. This year I had no real obligation to be at the Fall Nats so we could FINALLY get to the Big race............then this....

Thanks Brian.

As for suggestions. i suggest each entry gets Driver + 4 crew tickets and 2-3pairs to give out as they see fit.

i would definately pit all the racers in the class together in line so spectators can see them all together.

Also, come more contingency ideas:
-Fastest ET during round x (1,2,or 3)
-Best Avg RT - anyone can shoot for .000 on a gamble (in qualifying where it doesnt really count). Who is the best at the tree (avg. would tell more than a single outlier)
-Fans Choice (Gate passes out raffle ticket with entry ticket for spectators to put in a container at each cars' pit. Right before first roun of Elims, containers are collected and tickets counted.)

-Francisco
