well it is all based on the # of entries...right now there are 10 committed, that is approximately $6500 to the winner plus all the possible bounties that are already posted with more to come i am sure.

we are still early in this game, we will have a lot more competitors soon i bet !!!

you west coast guys need to rent some renegades and load them up with 3-4 cars each to save on the transportation cost and come race this event

Good point, I mean no offense but personally i know I'm gonna be pushing some limits at this race myself. The last thing we want is waiting all day for clean ups. What is the verdict on not qualifying? Are you getting 500 of your entry fee back or if you don't qualify your out?? either way is cool but was curious on what everyone decided with??

I thought the same thing..We would be saving way more money rolling 2-3 deep then making this trip all by ourselves. Anyone considering??

If you don't qualify, you will get $500 back and if your car is legal, you can run the etown SFWD class.

Talk to the west coast pro teams with toters, they hold 3-5 depending on setup and most don't have but 1-2.

No 2 day discount? Almost every multi-day event (racing or whatever else) I've been to would be maybe $30 for a two day ticket, rather than the same price. $5 isn't a big deal and I plan on driving down to watch this event, but I just found it kind of odd.

On a side note though, anyone from Canadaland want to carpool? I'm on your way to E-town if your from Ontario/Toronto...

Thats already 1/2 of what it costs to get into any other event. Kids being free would be great for the spectators also, if they arent already.

Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with it being $35, I just found it strange.

There may be a 2-day for $30, I'll have to verify. Here's an update of the ING account. I'll have one more deposit by the weekend.

It was brought up to me that E Town requires mufflers on Sundays, can we verify that running open dp on a turbo car is going to be ok?

a turbo was considered a muffler at NOPI Etown. it would be nice to have confirmation from ETOWN direct though

We've run there a number of times in Quick 16 on Sundays without a muffler.

I think the rule is for some weeknights and certain events.

Think of how many T/F and F/C's have been down that track...

Byron-

I understand the point you are trying to make , but E-town is only alotted a certain number of "noise days" ( which is what they call them) This basically means the cars dont need mufflers on these days as per the local ordinance.

I'm sure E-town gives a number of those days to the NHRA events.

Most of the time Etown allows turbos to be considered a muffler, but I'm sure everyone else would want to make sure. What do the SFWD style class rules for that day state?

WP is aware of the rules and does not have a problem with the 3 qualifiers on Saturday. He is the track manager.

10 Deposits...Cunha is giving me his this weekend. Deposits aren't due for another 2 1/2 months. I'll be depositing mine shortly too. So there's 12 cars. We will have at least 16 cars at this event.
