Default Stuck in park. Please help.

My mom has an 03 accord, and it will not shift from park please help. I check the brake fluid it is good and we just changed the brakes about 5 months ago.

Do your brake lights come on when you press the brake pedal? if not then its your brake pedal position switch.

Does it come out if you uuse the emergency shift release? more info would help
