werent we discussing the legitimacy of that number awhile ago. It seemed that the 250hp mark was really just something ppl said a few years back and nobody actually came up with solid proof that 250 is the number.
Atleast that is what I remember, either way i cant see it withstanding a whole hell of alot of power....it just wasnt designed to handle that.
When it slips, the clutches inside the atts unit themselves are slipping....correct ? I would imagine that it would work just as any automatic trans car where you can upgrade the clutches and such. However i doubt there is anyone out there that has done it. What would running a fluid with a higher coefficent of friction do in that unit ?

I agree lude98SH, that's why I was saying starts to slip...who knows when it totally slips and becomes useless. It's not friendly to lots of power, that's for sure

i have a 2001 turbo lude and i had to disconect my atts i have no idea how your atts is even working. with the amount of horse power you are talking about you cant expect it to work. it was only designed to work up to like about 250 horsepower.
