Default 99 OEM HID headlight problem fitment in 96 ITR

Guys,

We tried today installing a set of 99 HID OEm headlight in a 96 JDM ITR.

All went ok ,untill we saw >

-Airco line on leftside its in the way, must be rerouted or bend.
-Headlight does Not come on> the 96 has normally a 9006 plug, which the 99 OEM hid does not have, only has the BROWN center plug to receive 12V.

I am quite sure a lot installed it on their non jdm or non 98 up model JDM front, what have you done to make it come on, I need pictures and detailed info so we can finish this Job.

Regards,

Rishi

I believe most people just bend the A/C lines out of the way but I'm not 100% sure because I don't have A/C so I didn't have to do it.

Here is a pictures that should help you with the wiring of the lights.

So how does the 9006 bulb wire (high beam) goes to that brown plug? the plug of 9006 is a dobble wire ?how does this has to fitted in the HID headlights assembly, so all lights come on.

At this moment only the parklight comes on.

I need detailed information , your help is appreciated.

The low beam and high beam both have two wires, one is a ground and the other is 12 volts. The low beam 12 volts will go to the spade labeled HID and the high beam with go to the high beam. Both of the grounds will go to ground. Most people just buy spade connectors and don't use the female brown connector but I wouldn't recommend doing that.

Here is the actual wiring diagram.

the fog, high beam all works when installed the headlamp
the only one is the low beam ofcourse which has separete plug.

I think its solved, since i know now what to do.

The car is 96 has jdm front, already oem, which means fog, high beam.
