Lol. What's funny is, the left side of my firewall on the inside of the car looks sloppier than the right side. You can see as I got better as I went along.

lol. !!

I did my brakelines and finished my straight pipe today. I THINK I'm getting better at welding

I'm not too sure I like the bend of one of the lines, so it might not stay like this.

no real updates because I've been sick, but I did start to strip the paintdown in the bay. focusing on the area's that have been welded for now.

getting it done little by little. ALMOST done welding. the firewall is done, but There are just those misc holes in the rest of the bay i forgot about until i went to primer it. I decided to just prime the bare metal, and then apply the filler over that.

Should be picking up my fuel line and more brakeline supplies soon.. Just realized I don't have a 45 degree flare tool, and I didn't order any adapter fittings for the brake MC yet.

Thanks man. Its probably gonna slow down for a while.

I have some other things that have priority. Its cool though, I don't expect to have this done until next summer.

Just got done with all 33 pages. This thread has been givin me the motivation i need to really step up on my build thread and start tearing into my car hardcore. Cant wait to see the finished project.

Ive got one request though, if its possible, id like to see some detail pics of what you had to do to the chassis to make the H22 fit. I have an EF project car sittin in storage and was plannin on all motor H2B. Id like to see what ill be getting myself into once im done with the major work on my EG.

Great build!!

Thanks ish.

And thanks for the support of my build, it really helps!

For the swap I just had to bang the framerail in, as far as chassis modification goes. I will get pics tomorow.

I also had to relocate the crank pulley, shave the powersteering groove off, and also relocate my alternator. about $200 total for that.

When it goes back in though it will have the rear balancer shaft blocked off. Although the shaft remains in the engine. the front shaft doesn't really cause problems if you remove the gear.

thanks for bringing that up.

lol.

money is tight right now. I will need a booth, climate controlled mind you, good paint gun, paint, good primer, buttload of sandpaper, and a buttload of time. That color is hard to paint and if anything isn't just right it will look like garbage. I don't know what color it will be, but when it comes back out of the garage under its own power, it won't be red!

thanks everybody! i miss you too jon! I miss everybody out there. I'm comin to visit soon though I'll hit you up man.

I know this ain't a real update, but i'm currently stepping up my soldering equipment for my business, and own personal use. I don't have much time for the car, But I did aquire a new VC, which I'm stripping down for a special dedication to someone very special to me.

started:

Jon you know who this will be dedicated to!

also stripped my jaknifes. Gonna go with all white

I would love to get different wheels, and maybe push the offset out just a tad, maybe another 10mm. BUT money is tight right now.
