Lol this is true!

But my back wouldn't be happy if I drove 8 hours straight in a seat that doesn't recline

Someones gonna get featured. Too bad I don't have my car done

Man, my car has alignment issues too! I would probably need new tires after that trip. Not to mention the car is currently propelled by a d15 converted to mpfi, with an HF TRANNY! Which rules out getting there in a timely fashion,
Plus, I work that day!
Plus I have two bucket seats so switching out won't work!

I'm just talking myself out of going because I know I can't lol but would really like to. You may not be able to tell but whole entire car is rattle canned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok next on the to do list for the car:

1) buy some arp extended studs and get my DA hubs put back together
2)slap those back on, buy some skunk2 proseries front uca's, re-bleed my brakes and take the car to get aligned(camber, caster, and toe)
3) figure out how to wire up my passenger side window
4) purchase the rest of my brake setup
5)install the kaizen speed balancer shaft elimnator kit while taking pics
6) buy my h2b kit
7) drop my motor!

Now for the window I was looking at the spal power window kits but I had a few questions for anyone looking at this that has used one: does it come with a relay?

I was looking at this thread here:

http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1222469

In the thread the guy says he used a 5 pin relay he got for free from an audio shop. Does anyone have any experience with this? Would any 5 pin relay work?

Need some help!

Car is hella clean, I love the mugen clad interior, and the gauge setup is dope!

Edit:

You are going to need 2 relays one for up, one for down. It is pretty easy to do. I do that sort of stuff all the time.

Thanks bart

I want some mugen wheels to match now, I got a mugen fix!

Do you have anymore info on the window? I wired my driver side up without the realy and it works fine. I don't want my passenger side to be able to control both sides I just want them to both roll down. Its hot out here lol and my window visors keep wind from coming into my car and cooling me off

Yeah, Mugen is addictive. CRXForum gave me the same knob you have, and spent 3 weeks at my house with his CRX Pro.2 he imported. Next thing I knew, I was sourcing a real Mugen kit to replace my WW junk. I am now contemplating a 5 lug swap now so I can get some MF10s......It's a sickness......

For now until you get your windows wired up properly, you can use a flashlight, or drill battery to operate them. That way you aren't burning in the cali heat. I gotta run right now, or I would make you a diagram. I am sure there is one floating around on here anyway though.

so i FINALLY got my dang qtec cutout.

only thing is the wire the solenoid isnt there. could it be hardwired? im assuming it can be and will try that if no one responds here.

progress may slow down for a while since i now need a digital camera, laptop computer. after that im going straight for the h2b kit. in the meanwhile though i'll be finishing what i started with shaving the engine bay. plenty of pics of that will come!

Ok kind of an update:

I've changed the plans for this car YET AGAIN!

Since my daily driver is now takin a dump I will need another car soon. I'm going to hold off on the brake setup for now and with my stimulus check which will be 600 I'm going to buy the h2b kit finally and slap my motor in. But before the motor goes in I need to finish my engine bay, install the kaizen speed balancer shaft eliminator kit, and buy another DD.

All the people who look at this thread don't leave a comment! say anything lol! I need little things like that to keep me goin.

Stay tuned!

Yeah my motor is goin in soon.

I'm really gonna step it up now since this build is wack.

-I'm either ordering some chasebays pre-bent brakelines or bending my own to tuck them

-im going to tear the car completely apart and slather the whole chassis in midori green pearl

I want to get my motor in and take it to the track a few times and get someother things I need first though.

Definately stay tuned

Thanks bro!

I'm gonna need it!

Due to chasebays being to expensive I'm going to be bending and relocating my own brake lines when I do my h2b swap.

Unfortunately priorities force me to buy a new DD. I am just gonna use the money I get from selling my da9 to buy my h2b kit and some other things I need.

I may also be converting to stainless fuel lines and an inline filter. I figure since I'm tucked and shaved I might as well go all the way right? Only time will tell...

updates:

Well I've decided to take my h in a new direction and likely change the demeanor of the whole car. I'll give you guys one little hint

Well my fiance was visiting for a few weeks and now she went back home(long distance relationship FTL
But now that she's gone I can focus on my car

I can finally finish this sucker up!

I'm on the stock brakes right and I am running on two passenger side calipers!

The driver caliper I had was seized up and I had another passenger side laying around so I used it on the driver side lol. I am getting a scary grinding sound from the passenger side maybe from it dragging?

I'm not going to mess with the stock brakes. I'm also not going with the big brake itr setup anymore. I want to be able to put some slicks on it that are 14" or smaller.

Instead I'll be using slotted 90-93 rotors, stainless braided brake lines, and an integra brake booster and master cylinder.
My immediate plans are to get the things listed above, have my da knuckles put together with some arp studs and some new bearings, and get it to the alingment shop before the 21st so I can make it to the roseville lollicup meet.

I can't even drive the car currently due to its poor alingment and brakes. Its totally un safe.

On another note, today after work I'm going to go finish grinding my front lca's so my traction bars fit CORRECTLY, cut my valve cover to expose the cam gears for more hood clearance(hopefully I got my fingers X'd) then do some more work on my engine bay. I'll have some pics of the bay but you have to bare with me for a while because now I have no more digital camera only cell phone pics I'll be getting one very shortly though.
