my friend had a skunk2 mani on his built/ boosted h22, for some reason he was running lean on either cylinder 1 or 3 (i cant remember), turns out the mani doesnt flow evenly. so if you're boosted and using the skunk2 mani check your plugs

If the Skunk2 manifold didn't flow evenly, it wouldn't cause a cylinder to run lean, if anything that cylinder would run rich... What ECU does he run? I know S300 has individual cylinder compensation, he can add fuel to whatever cylinder in leaning out... Does he have EGT on his manifold, how does he even know it's leaning out in a cylinder??? So many things could be the problem aside from the manifold, someone correct me if I'm wrong!

Well I'm pissed at this point.

Long story short I still don't have an h2b kit!

I'm struggling to understand why I don't have a kit and have plenty of money? I wasted my entire day sitting by the phone waiting..... this project cannot go on without this kit.

I sure will

I am tempted to just send the money. But its stupid because

1. We live in the same city
2. He was supposed to give me a deal on it

But man I'm desperate. I found a guy selling a qsd kit but he wants to sell it with a longblock. I have no problem with having an extra H as a backup but I don't think its an ef kit. We'll see!

So the engine and transmission are together now. I'll get pics for you guys tomorow before I drop it in. Its really dark out here.

Also battle of the imports is coming up next month!

I just need to get my bay primed and painted before I drop the motor in and get it tuned and running 100% and get some rims and slicks. Bad thing is events like that are always on the weekend and I work weekends. I used all my sick days at work so I can't take any days off and I won't be out of work in time to enter my car. I'll still be able to make the event but I will have to leave my car at home! super wack

Ok well after putting the motor ina nd pulling it around 5 or 6 times, its finally in!

And here are some shots of my crank pulley clearance, how my header lines up with the cat, IAT sensor-to-MC clearance, brake line clearance, etc!

How she looks all snuggled in the bay!

Last but least, hood clearance! What you see may surprise you lol, I know it surprised me!

The balancer shaft pulley is hitting the rail just barely, but I'll hammer that out more when I pull the motor(which is soon) to finish the bay.

Yeah the header actually fit great! One gripe I have though is it hangs lower than the traction bars by a little bit. They don't really hug the pan they could. There's about an inch clearance between the header and oil pan!

I'll take those pics for you when I get home. I'm still gonna have to space the hood. I'm thinking an inch? We'll see! I'll do some more test fitting today

I haven't got it yet. I just wanted to figure out what I needed so ican sort out a budget. I might end up selling my seats in a trade plus cash which would free up some dough, other wise I have to wait to sell something or get paid cuz I'm broke!

I got my eye on the black/red stitching dc5r recaros. I really like the bride gais low max but those are waaaaaaaaay out of my budget. The idea is to have a reclining bucket, which sounds like a recaro to me!

Gonna pull the motor back out in a few days to get my bay done
