Default crx rear lip

i just got done making a rear lip from a crx si front lip on my crx, i know it has been done before but here is the finished product and little tip on what you need to do to fit it. you will need a Heat gun and Tin snips or a good cutting device, and a sharpie to mark the cuts with. Oh and some nuts, washers, and bolts

and here on the red arrows you will need a heat gun and a extra pair of hands to form the lip around the bumper and the blue arrow a sharpie to mark were to cut and tin snips work just fine to cut with

You definately did a good job forming it to the bumper. But IMO it doesn't look right. On the 90-91 rear bumpers there are already rear lips that are molded into the bumper so your car looks like it has 2 rear lips. Looks kinda tacky.

I think you did a great job at making this fit the bumper and curves very well. While some might think it may look better on the 88-89 bumper other may like it on 90-91 bumper.

Either way I think this is a good way of doing a simple DIY.

That looks awesome. I need to ask,
1. Did you paint that lip before or after you did this mod?
2. Is your car flint black metallic? It looks great. I just had my Rex resprayed Nighthawk Black Pearl.
I'd been considering doing this before but I am for sure going to do this mod now.

i do havt to say that looks sick. now the wheels are running for the simple fact i have a DA lip but i'm in the process of buying a ZC lip. so in turn i use the zc lip in the front w/the DA cut and mold in the rear with som EK oem side skirts... perfect. on a 91 civic hatch back that is.
