Very, very nice write up, I didnt even know this existed. I might just do this instead of going with a Complete Rear Disc Swap from a 99-00 Civic Si.
Now, I read the whole thread, but I wanted to get some assurance so I know I buy the right things from the get go if I decide to go this route. The Swap will be done on my 1997 Honda Civic CX Hatchback, so this is the parts list I need, correct? - Scarebird "CIV" Bracket - 99-00 Civic Si (or 95-01 Integra) Rear Calipers - 99-00 Civic Si (or 97-01 Integra) Rear Rotors - 99-00 Civic Si (or 98-01 Integra) Rear Brake Pads - 99-00 Civic Si Master Cylinder - 99-00 Civic Si eBrake Cables - 99-00 Civic Si (or 96-01 Integra) Rear Brake Hoses & Brackets - New Spindle Nut I got the above info by comparing OEM Honda/Acura Part Numbers, so that's how I got those specific years - although I'm pretty sure I can use any 9.4" Rotor and any 7CLP13S Caliper and corresponding Brake Pad (right?). Anyways, Is there anything else I am missing on the list? Oh and I will be able to use my current Proportioning Valve and my Brake Booster since they are the same as the 99-00 Civic Si (according to OEM Honda Part Numbers) due to my Car being a 1997 Honda Civic CX Hatchback. Well looking forward to a reply, thanks in advanced! - Danny |

The only items needed for this swap are:
scarebird bracket rear rotors from 92-95 Civic Ex/Si..94-01 Integra...99/00 Civic Si calipers pads e-brake cables from 92-95 Civic Ex/Si..94-01 Integra...99/00 Civic Si rear brake lines from 92-95 Civic Ex/Si..94-01 Integra...99/00 Civic Si A new master cylinder/booster and prop valve is NOT needed to do a rear disc swap. This has been gone over many times. 92-95 Civic Ex/Si come with 3030 prop valve so 4040 is not needed...and Master/Booster is identical to non 92-95 Ex/Si civics

Just got my parts in, looking forward to doing the swap. I am glad this DIY was posted though since there are no instructions included with the kit.

Nice! Now I won't be such a stickler on a full disc car, and I can save money there on the next project. I'll just do this conversion.
