This is not a race only car. i drive it almost every day on the streets on 92oct pump gas. i plan on upgrading my fuel system this spring, and breaking 600whp on higher octane fuel.
this dyno sheet was for a 509whp run. since this run was made, ive retuned my timing maps and gotten rid of the jagged lines, and made 526whp. i dont have the file for that chart on this comp, but ill post it soon! oh yea, the 526whp was made on 18psi, running 92oct pump gas.

Re: (propwdialogue)
1,2,3 gears spin on street tires, but i have a 2 stage boost controller and i run 12psi on low boost to help traction. car is rock solid reliable making over 500whp.
thanks for the replies and complements.

I think you underestimate the noise that turbo and 3" exhaust is making...i highly doubt there is anyone sleeping anywhere near that car

Re: (SkimN)
im using a H22A trans at the moment, but i am looking for a H23 trans to replace it for the slightly longer gearing. no problems thus far with the tranny or any other driveline parts.
its actually pretty quiet when your crusing, theres 2 18" dynomax glasspacks for resonators, plus the borla muffler at the back. once the wastegate opens, and vtec hits, its on like donkey kong

wonder if youll have as many tranny problems as my buddie is?? He's making a little higher numbers...on his 5th now.
But very nice man..and that is a clean mean DD in my book good to see a G-series haven't heard much bout anybody doing big builds with them. cant wait for race gas numbers..what are you hoping for??
Curious did you start this motor with 2 half motors lying around??
Nice build

Re: 526whp 4th gen F22/H22 frank engine (CD5 Jeebies!)
once i find a good h23 trans, i will send it out and get it built so it wont give me trouble in the future. i have heard of the f/h transmissions having more reliability issues then the B series boxes....i will be aiming to make 650whp on race gas, just to show it can be done with a G series engine. i built the G because of the good low end torque of the F block, and of course the high flow of the H head. it makes for alot of usable low end power, for daily driving. so to answer your question, i sourced head for this build and sent an F block out for sleeving.

is your name the same over on cb7. i don't recall your seeing you but then again, i am not on there 24/7. sweet build though. have you taken it to the track to see how you really hook up on the ground. if so, what are your times.

hmm. not bad for streets. you could break 12s if you had 16s instead of 17s. but when you get to those slicks, omg, not telling what could happen. can't wait to see numbers then. you have one of the nicest cb7s since 2point6 amazed us all.
