Madison, WI Spring 2k8 meet 4/19/2008 - Honda-Tech

WHO EVER INTENDS TO MEET UP AT BROOKFIELD SQUARE, PLEASE PM ME OR POST IN THIS THREAD IF YOU WILL BE CARAVANING WITH THE MILWAUKEE CREW

Directions to the meet from milwaukee....
1. take i-94 west towards Madison about (1hr)
2. once you get towards madison it will split 3 ways, left Jansville, straight Madison, right I-90 North... Take Jansville
3. once you take the jansville exit, exit on the Madison exit (12/18 west aka the beltline)
4. take the beltline and exit Gammon Rd (10min)
5. take a left on gammon and follow it all the way down and Elver park is on the right, you wont miss it!

When? April 19th 2008 Noon till whenever (Already Checked Madison Events Calendar so we should have available parking)
Where? Elver Park (Its much more secluded than Warner and much cleaner)
Why? We all know why
Who? As usual, everyone is always welcomed

Hey guys hows it going? Well it looks like spring is coming around the corner and I haven't seen a spring meet besides the cruise meet which Hi-Tech Honda Girl created, which sounds like its going to be a blast but isn't till May, and some of us may not be willing to drive all the way out there. I know there will be a lot of very ambitious Honda enthusiast ready to show off their rides before that.

So lets not break tradition now, every year since the Spring of 2004 there has always been a Spring Honda-Tech meet in Madison

. Through all the ups and downs each meet had, I believe you wouldn't find one person from previous years not enjoy it.

So the date is set and final! I know there was a lot of confusion last year due to weather issues and what not but its WISCONSIN SPRING WEATHER, this shit is always changing, don't be too skeptical that a week before the meet meteorologist are predicting rain.

As far as grilling goes everyone for their selves unless someone is willing to organize one? I would be down

Milwaukee Caravan anyone? I don't know if i'll be traveling back home and coming back up that saturday like last year, but usually its really nice when everyone from Milwaukee caravans up there. So i'll just set-up a time and a spot for you guys to meet up.

2k4 was the our first meet in Madison, I believe I was only 17, this was a pretty big meet, it was well hosted and someone actually brought a huge gas grill and many of us helped by providing food as well, it would be great if we could do this, this year, its just the matter of who's willing to bring what

Yeah i remember that, my bro who had the silver ek was leading everyone noticed 2 cops sitting on the islands, we were like wtf... yeah definitely better not be anyone dickin around on the highway, if i remember correctly someone did get a ticket too, i believe it was for expired license plates...

Damn, I haven't been to Honda-Tech for awhile. And the first time I'm back I see those 2 pictures i took of the RX-7 and the NSX. I forgot how much I liked those.

Anyways, I'll try to come back from Milwaukee that day, but I have some people coming to milwaukee on Sunday for the first day of AutoX. So i don't know it i'll make it. But if I haven't picked up my EVO out of storage yet, i'll be back in madison to do that so i'll be there for sure.

Def. had a lot of fun before and if someone has a portable grill (or multiple people), they should bring them.
