I think it all jacked up. I have a 07 si and i too have a problem with 2nd and 3rd at mid and high rpms in 3rd. For about a year now i just thought it was me just missin 2nd and 3rd. i had a 91 crx si and i never missed gears while racin even when i had my 99 ex. i vote for the recall. It cant just be random f*ck ups.

Ive had my car in for the third gear problem and that was fixed. But ive had my car in twice for my 2nd gear and they are "unable to reproduce" a grinding or anything of that nature. So if it does it noticeably again im spose to bring it back.

I personally know the tech that looked at it and he said he didnt notice it but if it does it again jus keep bringin it back and they should be able to find the grind and fix it.

my 3rd gear is screwed too. it will pop out every now and then. and it is annyoing as hell. i just got the car too. so it kinda sucks. is there anyhting to do about it.?

A minor flaw in the tranny? aahh..Is that why they issued a service bulletin outlining a 8 or 9 hour repair to swap out the third gear set? And people that have the si's with certain vin numbers and models qualify to have the third gear set replaced.

My sis has an 07' coupe and they took it in without question to take care of it.

Let's take out the tranny and replace gear cogs and tell the technicians it's a minor tranny flaw....haha.

Yeah probably just a minor tranny flaw that when the car gets to 100k and is only 2 years out of warranty the tranny locks up and costs someone 3 grand to fix

Honda and their transmissions FTL. Its been almost 8 years that the k-series has been out and even the newest 09 Si models can potentially have this problem.
